Job Summary
Quality Resident Engineer at a Tier One Hyundai supplier, stationed at West Point, GA, responsible for managing the professional relationship with the customer within customer assembly plants, delivering manufacturing-process expertise, addressing quality concerns to minimize impact on customer satisfaction and ratings, facilitating cross-functional communication, being on-call 24/7, conducting initial investigations, managing containment and cost status, initiating problem resolution, presenting six-panel reports to the customer, following up on engineering changes and trials, and performing other duties as assigned by the Sr. Quality Manager.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- Requires 5+ years experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
