Job Summary
Perform inspection, sampling, and testing on incoming raw materials and components following GMP to minimize cross-contamination. Operate in GMP cleanrooms following trafficking and gowning procedures, ensuring cleaning and environmental monitoring are completed prior to activities. Physically check all incoming and outgoing materials for damage and discrepancies, accepting or rejecting items based on quality standards and client requirements. Identify and track errors, communicate with stakeholders for case management, and initiate quality records in QT9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product segregation and maintain proper documentation for client communication regarding discrepancies. Work according to Langham Logistics policies, meet established quality metrics, and provide professional service to internal and external teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years' experience in Quality Control or related field within a GMP facility
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in environments with varying temperatures (frozen, refrigerated, controlled room temperature)
- Must be able to work on concrete in a warehouse environment
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift
- Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external teams both verbally and written
- Ability to thoughtfully analyze a wide variety of information and data to make key decisions regarding potential risks associated with product quality
- Ability to establish professional relationships and rapport with internal and external peers and management
- Ability to anticipate potential problems and risks related to product, operations, and investigate solutions
- Ability to manage multiple quality records with various due dates to ensure timely completion and maintain records in a readily retrievable format
- High detail orientation and accuracy
