Job Summary

Quality Reporting & Accreditation Specialist serves as the primary project manager coordinating accreditation and certification processes (NCQA accreditation, Managed Behavioral Health Organization Accreditation, Certified Review Entity Certification, and HealthChoices reporting). Responsibilities include preparing submissions, developing tools to assess quality risks, compiling information for internal/external audits, developing metrics with internal departments, advising CBH Officers and the Quality Improvement Committee, ensuring program integrity by identifying fraud/waste/abuse, coordinating messaging of quality activities to stakeholders, and supporting monitoring activities. Requires a Master’s degree in behavioral health, healthcare, public administration, or social sciences; preferred CPHQ (required within 1 year) and PMP; minimum 3 years post-graduate experience; strong Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of HealthChoices regulations and NCQA requirements; and Philadelphia residency or ability to relocate per policy.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in behavioral health, healthcare, public administration, or social sciences
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred; CPHQ Required within 1 year of hire
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience
  • Knowledge of HealthChoices regulations and requirements
  • Knowledge of NCQA requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Mid to high level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to manage ongoing projects and prioritize to meet deadlines

Additional Requirements

  • Philadelphia residency required or must become a resident within six months of hire
  • U.S. Authorization Requirement: must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
