Job Summary
Act as a leadership ambassador for SJGIH Quality Programs, providing on-the-ground leadership to design, plan and implement capacity-strengthening activities for Timorese caregivers and program counterparts; oversee delivery, troubleshooting, monitoring and evaluation of Quality Programs; contribute to quantitative and qualitative reporting; build relationships with stakeholders and ensure programs meet health system needs; promote professional healthcare practice, clear communication, and safe-work environments; ensure alignment with SJGHC Vision, Mission and Values and maintain focus on patient care while supporting development of quality governance and infection control practices.
Required Qualifications
- nursing and/or midwifery qualification
- eligible for registration to practice as a nurse/midwife in Australia
- post-graduate qualification
- minimum two years’ experience working in a quality role across auditing, development & implementation of polices, Standard Operating Procedures, infection control and data management
- two years leadership/management experience
- commitment to learn Tetun language
