Quality Process Engineer - Automotive

Job Summary
Develop optimized processes through continuous upgrading of Control Plans and Process Inspection Sheets. Build Control Plans, Inspection Plans, and PFMEAs from scratch for new launches. Perform inspection audits on the production floor daily and evaluate in-process data to implement corrective actions using 8D methodology. Coordinate Safe Launch plans and lead GP12 activities for new product introductions. Act as a technical resource to all departments and serve as a customer liaison for assigned launches and quality concerns. Maintain gauge calibration, MSA systems, and safe work environments while supporting internal and external audits. Provide technical specifications for vendor selection and assist in project startup and QA training. Work in compliance with ISO9001, IATF16949, and other management standards.
Required Qualifications
- Post-Secondary Diploma
- experience in technical areas
- C.E.T.
- Professional Engineering Designation
- 3 - 5 Years' experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of process flow and optimization
- cellular manufacturing engineering
- MRP experience
