Job Summary
Quality Control Parts Inspector responsible for visual and physical inspection of products and equipment, including inspection setup and reports. Reads and understands engineering drawings and specifications for composite product designs; coordinates with other departments to provide feedback; works in both lab and production environments; must be able to read customer drawings, enter inspection results into the company database, and verify adherence to customer requirements and inspection criteria. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with availability including weekends; physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking on concrete. Requires attention to detail, math proficiency, and familiarity with MS Office; forklift certification is a plus. Job located in Culpeper, VA at an ITAR-regulated facility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good understanding of math
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Working knowledge of diverse units of measurements for various requirements
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to accuracy and precision
- Knowledge of industry safety standards
- Previous forklift certification and experience a plus
