Quality Operations Manager - Advanced Casting Foundry (Onsite)

Job Summary
Lead the quality organization for the new Advanced Casting Foundry in Asheville, NC. Drive a culture of compliance and collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing to build out and develop the Quality team (Inspection, NDT, MRB, Gage Calibration, Metrology, MCL). Allocate resources to meet long-term and near-term goals, oversee daily operations, and drive process improvements using DMAIC, CORE, and Lean to reduce cycle times and costs. Provide subject-matter expertise on non-conforming material and support MRB processes, while aligning with Quality, CORE, and financial metrics and ensuring effective communication across the quality operations team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- minimum 10 years of relevant experience (or 7 years with an Advanced Degree)
- Demonstrated leadership & management experience
- Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Experience with quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, and GD&T
- Practical DMAIC, CORE, Six Sigma or similar Lean experience
- PW Quality system experience (preferred)
