Job Summary
Quality of Life Specialist to assist with creating an interactive, fun environment for elders based on their interests, holidays, and activities. Responsibilities include planning, developing, and executing activities and restorative programs in individual and group settings; decorating/preparing for holidays and events; developing weekly calendars and flyers; notifying families of events; and completing daily documentation including MDS section F. The role also involves developing flyers/signs for large events, attending weekly trainings on new programs, and ensuring restorative programs are tailored to each resident (e.g., ROM, exercise groups, or individual sessions). Requires High School Diploma or GED, Kansas CNA license, and Activities and Restorative Aide certifications or ability to complete courses within 45 days of hire.
