Job Summary
Maintain measurement equipment in the Measurement Laboratory, check environmental conditions, and ensure all measurements meet end goals. Analyze engineering drawings per ASME and ISO standards, decide on the feasibility of measurements, and determine conformity of measured dimensions. Create workload schedules for the lab, perform product and process audits, and assist the calibration technician. Train Quality Technicians and Manufacturing Operators on metrology processes and best practices. Report quantitative results from audits and maintain data collection consistency. Work 1st shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Demonstrated experience with quality measurements in a high-precision manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of measurement concepts and ability to interpret engineering drawings per ASME and ISO standards
- Demonstrated proficiency in measurement tools such as CMM, Vision Systems, Form Gages, and standard high-precision measurement tools
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills with regard to data collection and basic analysis
- Handling and lifting of various parts on the production floor up to 30lbs
