Job Summary
Manage the North Carolina quality lab scope and calibration manual, ensuring continuous audits keep documentation current. Perform dimensional analysis on new production parts using CMM, PC-DMIS, and Polyworks, while analyzing part capability during production cycles. Oversee all gauge calibration activities, validate fixtures and tooling for engineering and manufacturing, and enter results into the QMS gauge module. Provide quality support to the APQP Launch team by reviewing customer prints and interpreting engineering drawings to determine reliability standards. Train Quality and Production staff, participate in process improvement projects to reduce costs, and maintain cleanliness of lab equipment. This role requires an Associate's degree and seven years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with a focus on APQP, QMS, and ISO/IATF systems.
