Job Summary
Lead QA strategy across AP1000 projects, embedding quality throughout the full lifecycle from bid through delivery; design and implement project-specific QA staffing strategies; oversee QA engineers and lead internal audits, surveillances, and self-assessments; ensure compliance with the Westinghouse Quality Management System across new AP1000 plant projects; manage annual department budget; promote nuclear safety culture and continuous improvement; travel as required (up to ~25%); collaborating with project teams and providing QA leadership in proposals, design reviews, and execution.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree or equivalent engineering or technical; 8+ years of quality assurance experience in positions of increasing responsibility; broad knowledge of QA regulations, codes and standards; knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, and testing; ability to travel internationally up to 25% for peak times
