Job Summary
Quality Manager responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) for Urban Engineers to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and drive continuous improvement across engineering, project delivery, and consulting operations. Leads internal audits, coordinates external certification activities, manages CAPA processes, maintains quality procedures and documentation, develops and delivers training on ISO 9001 requirements, and reports quality performance metrics to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in a Quality Management or Quality Assurance role
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Strong experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, including audits and certification processes
- Experience conducting internal audits and managing corrective action programs
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining procedures and quality documentation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident, professional communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels
- Comfortable using technology, including digital reporting platforms, Teams, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
