Job Summary
Lead and manage the Quality team within Ultra I&C's Cyber business, ensuring products, services and projects meet the highest quality standards and compliance. Drive and maintain AS9100 and ISO9001 certifications, lead audits and inspections, oversee corrective actions, report quality metrics to Senior Leadership, design and promote quality training, mentor Quality Engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to align quality initiatives with Cyber business strategies. Requires ability to obtain and maintain UK SC security clearance; responsibilities span Quality for Software, Firmware, and Hardware products, with emphasis on continuous improvement, supplier quality, and governance across the supply chain.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Quality management within Aerospace/Defence industry
- Demonstrable experience with ERP systems (preferably IFS)
- Experience supporting AS9100 and ISO9001 compliance
- Implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Leadership ability to develop and mentor a quality team
- Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders
- Data analysis, root cause identification, problem-solving
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive operational excellence
