Job Summary
Lead all Quality Assurance, Quality Control Inspection, Calibration, and Quality Systems activities for the Salem facility, developing departmental objectives, budgets, and staffing plans aligned with business goals. Supervise and coach Quality personnel while maintaining site compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ITAR, DFARS, and customer-specific requirements through internal, external, and regulatory audits. Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects utilizing root cause analysis, CAPA, and statistical process control to reduce defects and improve First Pass Yield. Serve as the primary quality representative for key customers, conducting reviews, leading investigations into complaints and nonconformances, and resolving quality issues with cross-functional teams. Establish and maintain quality dashboards tracking Cost of Quality, defect rates, and audit results to communicate performance trends to leadership. Manage the external calibration program and ensure only products meeting all contractual and regulatory requirements are released for shipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline
- 6+ years of experience in quality management within a high-technology manufacturing environment
- 6+ years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience
- Extensive knowledge of: ISO 9001
- Extensive knowledge of: ISO 14001
- Extensive knowledge of: DFARS
- Extensive knowledge of: First Article Inspection (FAI)
- Extensive knowledge of: ITAR
- Extensive knowledge of: Defense Production Act (DPA)
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and quality assurance methodologies
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles
- Knowledge of statistical process control, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality data analysis
- Experience with calibration systems and inspection methodologies
- Strong understanding of manufacturing performance metrics and quality reporting
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and project management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
- Must comply with all TTM Export Control policies and procedures and applicable U.S. export regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
