Job Summary

Oversee the overall quality management system to ensure products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards. Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality and Inspection Team to achieve departmental goals. Review and approve engineering packets for new orders, develop Process Control Plans and PFMEA's, and supervise incoming and first article inspection areas. Interact with external customers and suppliers regarding non-conformances, manage Corrective Actions, and drive continuous improvement using FMEA, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing techniques. Analyze data to identify trends and resolve problems while managing engineering projects based on customer requirements. Adhere to federal, state, and company policies. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, three to five years of progressive quality experience, and knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100. Pay range $95k-$110k.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum of three to five years of progressive quality experience

  • Experience with FMEA, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering project management and scheduling based on customer requirements
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and ensure conformity to standards and customer requirements
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics
  • Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical blueprints
  • Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information, resolve conflicts, negotiate, and provide guidance to managers, customers, and employees across a broad audience
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
