Job Summary
Quality Manager Service & Training at HENSOLDT in Ulm leads the establishment and continuous improvement of the quality management system for the Services & Training division across the product lifecycle. Responsible for allocating qualified QM resources, coordinating with supplier quality, QMS, Regulatory Affairs, Services & Training, and product development; monitoring compliance with internal and external requirements; planning and reporting QM actions and KPIs to improve service and training quality; reducing non-quality costs; ensuring phase reviews and project/technical reviews, and driving quality awareness and improvement projects across the organization. Requires a degree in engineering or quality management, several years of QM experience (preferably in defense/high-tech), program/project management experience, strong leadership, and proficiency in ISO 9001, AQAO, APQP, Six Sigma, with familiarity in AI, XR, and S4/HANA; fluency in German and English.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, quality management or equivalent
- Several years of experience in quality management, ideally in service, training and simulation, preferably in the defense or high-tech industry
- Experience in program and project management, in managing service and training processes, as well as development and production
- Strong leadership qualities and experience with building, motivating and leading a team
- Analytical and pragmatic approach with goal-oriented mindset
- Excellent knowledge of modern quality standards and methods (e.g. ISO 9001, AQAO, APQP, Six Sigma, etc)
- Solid knowledge of modern technologies (AI, XR, Web and Cloud solutions, S4/HANA) is advantageous
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills and high initiative and assertiveness
- Independent, systematic and efficient working style
- Excellent German and English written and spoken skills
