Job Summary
Quality Manager leading steel manufacturing quality programs for an EAF melt shop and downstream processes. Responsibilities include strengthening quality systems, conducting audits to ISO and customer requirements, performing RCA/CAPA and 8D problem solving, applying Six Sigma methodologies, and driving defect analysis and process control (chemistry, inclusions). Track record of improving yield, reducing scrap, and lowering customer claims; strong metallurgy expertise and leadership of quality teams.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years steel manufacturing quality experience
- EAF melt shop experience
- process control expertise (chemistry, inclusions, defect analysis)
- RCA/CAPA
- Six Sigma
