Job Summary
Quality Manager needed at a Tier 1 automotive plant in Effingham, IL to lead quality management initiatives, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities include implementing and refining quality control and reliability techniques, collaborating with Process Engineering on process improvements, supporting prototype builds and data collection, motivating and leading a dedicated team, maintaining accurate recordkeeping, and communicating effectively with internal teams and external customers. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience), proven management experience, and automotive manufacturing exposure; Six Sigma certification a plus.
Required Qualifications

- Proven management experience with demonstrably strong leadership skills
- Prior experience in the automotive manufacturing industry (mid- to senior-level preferred)
- Six Sigma certification a plus
