Job Summary
Quality Manager leading the QA program at a manufacturing site, responsible for ISO 9001 QMS administration, process standardization, 8D/5Y/Fishbone problem-solving, training and mentoring teams, non-conformance investigations, KPI reporting, and driving cost, quality, and productivity improvements through vendor management, internal/external audits, and regulatory compliance. Key activities include maintaining QMS documentation, conducting audits, implementing CAPAs and corrective action requests, PFMEA/Six Sigma/Kaizen activities, and ensuring UL/CSA regulatory alignment while collaborating with multiple departments and suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field with practical work experience
- 3+ years of experience
- Infor Syteline ERP systems, specifically with QCS Modules
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic manufacturing environment
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Manufacturing processes
