Job Summary
Lead the Quality Management System by developing, enforcing, and monitoring procedures, policies, and standards to ensure finished goods meet company and customer specifications. Manage the quality department's programs and activities, including hiring, training, and performance goals for personnel. Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to ensure all procedures are performed, metrics are on target, and product conformance is maintained through documented process controls. Oversee internal and external audits, manage customer complaints and rejects for root cause analysis, and visit customers or suppliers as needed. Monitor site quality and food safety metrics to develop countermeasures and report progress against goals. Participate in the administration of quality specifications and systems while ensuring all quality personnel are trained.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree
- five (5) years of leadership experience in Quality/Manufacturing
- ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Prior audit experience
- knowledge of ISO 9001
- knowledge of GMP
- knowledge of GFSI
- Strong data management skills
- Demonstrated understanding of fact-based decision-making
