Job Summary
Quality Manager onsite in Manchester, PA to lead quality on the plant floor, partnering with operations to drive product quality, lead a team of inspectors and technicians, and ensure every product meets customer expectations and internal standards. Develop and execute quality strategies aligned with plant and company goals, maintain GMP and quality systems, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, own internal, customer, and third-party audits, ensure regulatory and customer compliance, define product specifications and validation processes, implement monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives, lead food safety programs including HACCP, and develop people by coaching the quality team while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to foster accountability and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading quality in a manufacturing environment (rigid plastics preferred but not required)
- A bachelor’s degree in quality engineering or quality management
- Strong knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and audit processes
- Experience with food safety programs (HACCP, audits, compliance)
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional partners
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Higher
- Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Cause Mapping, root cause analysis, FMEA, statistical process control, validation, and change management
