Job Summary

Lead laboratory operations, oversee fermentation performance, and manage all quality/food/feed certification and accreditation programs to ensure compliance and facilitate continuous improvement. Direct day-to-day activities by coordinating data transfers, managing quality control, and optimizing ingredient usage through fermentation process analysis. Recruit, train, and coach team members while fostering a culture of safe behavior and environmental compliance. Manage facility testing programs for general processes, water management, and final products, ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements are met. Participate in internal and external audits, support customer complaints, and present capital request justifications to management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biology or related science
3 years of experience in lab operations with a strong background in lab quality control and standard lab practices
