Job Summary
Quality Manager leading the Quality Team in Madison, WI to drive high-performance quality operations across site locations. Own customer quality complaints end-to-end with root-cause analysis in collaboration with Engineering, Production, Tooling, and Marketing, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs). Manage the CAPA program, external/internal audits (SQF, ISO 9001, customer standards), pest control oversight, regulatory affairs alignment, and QMS software migration to improve data integrity and traceability. Lead cross-functional initiatives including New Product Development quality/validation studies, participate in data-driven leadership presentations, oversee the site quality budget, and maintain HACCP and food safety compliance. Ideal candidate will provide leadership, strategic quality direction, and hands-on involvement in audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or STEM-related discipline
- 3 years of leadership experience within a regulated industry
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Experience with SQF, ISO, HACCP, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge of quality systems, audits, CAPA, and controlled documentation
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and analytical skills
- Ability to use standard office software, ERP systems, and QMS tools
- Ability to work in office, lab, and manufacturing environments
- Minimal travel (less than 5%) to customers, vendors, and audits
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred
