Job Summary
Lead the site's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, serving as the management representative for internal and external certification audits. Plan, execute, and continuously improve the internal audit program while maintaining QMS documentation and the SharePoint site. Manage the supplier quality program by supporting qualification, audits, corrective actions, and Material Review Requests. Serve as the primary contact for manufacturing quality issues, coordinating cross-functional teams for containment, root cause investigations, and corrective actions. Oversee product inspection and testing, champion a Zero Defects culture, and establish annual quality performance metrics. Lead the Quality team, coach members, and drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives through daily Gemba participation and SQDC activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Quality, Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related field
- Seven (7) or more years of experience
- One (1) or more years of management experience
- Demonstrated experience leading an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, including external certification audits
- Experience developing and executing internal audit programs
- Ability to obtain a passport and travel internationally
- Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- ASQ Certification (CQE, CRE, or CSQP)
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Six Sigma certification
- AWS training and/or certification
- Expert knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
- Experience in mechanical or electromechanical manufacturing
- High mix, low volume manufacturing experience
