Job Summary
Lead the quality team at the factory by monitoring manufacturing processes, key quality indicators, and driving continuous improvements. Develop and implement a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to support product quality, perform internal audits across all departments, and validate corrective actions for audit findings. Execute multi-department quality standard implementations, conduct gap analyses for new systems, and lead cross-functional teams on root cause investigations. Maintain QA metrics and communicate performance data to management while building a strong quality function focused on people growth and KPI-driven process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in Quality Engineering and Quality Management
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
- Experience in leading and developing a team of Quality Engineers
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes
- Proficient in root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and problem-solving techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, 8D, Red-X methodology)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards specific to electric vehicles
- Master's degree in an engineering Related Field
- In-depth understanding of electric vehicle components & automotive systems
- Prior experience implementing a new QMS
