Job Summary
Quality Manager to own and drive the Quality Management System (QMS) at a Mansfield, TX manufacturing facility. Leads product quality, process control, customer and supplier quality, and regulatory/standards compliance (ISO 9001; AS9100 and/or IATF 16949 preferred). Hands-on leader responsible for CAPA, root-cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, fishbone), supplier and customer quality interfaces, audits (internal, customer, registrar), documentation (control plans, FMEAs, work instructions, PPAP/APQP), and key quality metrics (scrap, rework, first-pass yield, PPM, cost of quality). Collaborates with production, engineering, and purchasing to resolve quality issues and support new product/process introductions; aims to reduce defects and drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of quality management or quality engineering experience in manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
