Job Summary
Develop and maintain the facility's Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Lead internal and external audits, coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and oversee inspection, testing, and quality control processes across production operations. Analyze quality data to identify trends, manage nonconformance investigations, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis while mentoring quality staff. Interface with customers and suppliers regarding quality concerns and maintain all documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 7+ years of quality management experience
- Strong knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 or other relevant industry standards
- Experience with quality tools including SPC, FMEA, CAPA, and root cause analysis
- Proven leadership experience managing quality teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office tools
- Proactive and adaptable mindset with a 'can-do' attitude
