Job Summary
Quality Manager in NDT equipment repairs and calibration leads Repairs & Calibration Department in Houston, developing and maintains calibration procedures and quality processes; oversees technicians, collaborates with procurement and other departments, and drives continuous improvement in quality control to ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include defining quality metrics, training staff, supplier quality management, leading a team of repair/calibration technicians, staying current with regulations, coordinating audits, and promoting a culture of quality and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or a business degree
- 5+ years of experience in NDT equipment repair, calibration, inspection, or related technical service work
- 5+ years of ASNT Level II or Level III experience
- Extensive proficiency and knowledge of products, procedures, and documentation; supervisory or training experience strongly preferred
