Job Summary

Coordinate and oversee the customer response program for product quality, specifications, and related services while driving manufacturing capability improvement programs. Maintain and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 certifications by conducting supplier audits, verifying corrective actions, and leading internal quality audits. Develop, update, and review Process Interaction Maps, Control Plans, and FMEAs for internal processes and supplier activities to ensure thorough quality planning for new product introductions. Manage personnel for instrument calibration, maintain testing equipment records, and lead RCCA investigations to resolve quality system findings. Set tactical and strategic direction for the Quality Department, partnering with plant leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • Ability to lead RCCA investigations
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of plant and management personnel
  • Ability to lead and influence project teams
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during audits, inspections or site visits
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in related field or MBA
  • Solid working knowledge of industrial statistics
  • 10 years' experience in a Quality Management role
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP functionality
  • Experience in chemical industries
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
