Quality Manager - Manufacturing

Job Summary
Lead and continuously improve the ISO 9001 quality management system across all manufacturing phases, from low-volume builds to high-volume production. Own the full quality lifecycle for complex electromechanical products, driving proactive quality through 8D problem solving and SPC/SQC. Serve as primary liaison between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers on quality matters. Manage audits, FAI/PPAP/EC processes, NPI support (DFM/DFA), supplier qualification and audits, calibration program, customer communications, and KPI reporting. Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with operations. Requires 10+ years of experience in quality engineering/manufacturing and a Bachelor’s degree; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred and local residency to Boulder, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Science, or a closely related field
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred (or demonstrated equivalent experience conducting third-party or customer audits)
- Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Boulder, CO office
- 10+ years of progressive quality engineering or quality management experience in a complex manufacturing environment
