Quality Manager - Manufacturing

Job Summary
Quality Manager is responsible for product inspection, managing the Quality Management System, customer and internal audits, and continuous improvement through corrective actions and problem solving. The role involves leading a team of inspectors, CMM programmers, and quality engineers; acting as management representative to maintain and improve the QMS in compliance with AS9100 and ISO9001; coordinating training on the QMS; directing internal audits, facilitating certification, and interfacing with customers on quality issues and resolutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with process optimization and new product introduction preferred
- 3 or more years of experience with AS or ISO quality management systems
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in communicating with suppliers and customers for corrective actions and reviews
- Direct experience as QMS auditor
