Quality Manager - Manufacturing

Job Summary
The Quality Manager will lead a team of inspectors, CMM programmers, and quality engineers at the Indianapolis site, owning the Quality Management System (AS9100/ISO 9001) and driving audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvements. Responsibilities include directing internal audits, coordinating certifications, evaluating customer returns, and interfacing with customers on quality issues, while building and maintaining the quality organization in alignment with company policies. The role requires strong experience in process optimization, new product introduction, supplier and customer communication for corrective actions, and demonstrated QMS auditing expertise. The ideal candidate will have significant manufacturing experience, a track record of establishing quality structures, and the ability to manage multiple quality improvement projects in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with experience in process optimization and new product introduction preferred
- 3 or more years of experience working within AS or ISO quality management systems
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in communicating with suppliers and customers for corrective actions and reviews
- Direct experience as QMS auditor
