Job Summary
Quality Manager responsible for leading the quality team and developing/implementing the quality management strategy to support Magna/Cosma's objectives. Key duties include enforcing Environmental Health and Safety policies (Magna and OSHA), ensuring QA compliance with customer specifications, establishing quality procedures and KPIs, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, conducting data analysis and reporting, overseeing audits (including 8D and layered process audits), driving continuous improvement, and aligning quality activities with the organization’s strategic plan. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required, with ability to work extended/flexible hours and in multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess working knowledge and understanding of quality systems, standards, and procedures
- Must have strong team-focused, interpersonal and leadership abilities
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be willing to work extended or flexible hours
- Must be willing to work in various locations within and outside the facility
- Must be able to pay good attention to detail
- Must possess good human relations, leadership skills, and a maturity of judgment
- GDPR/data privacy awareness and related compliance familiarity
