Job Summary
Review quality data from brewing partners to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Investigate customer and consumer complaints through to resolution, preparing samples for the internal Sensory Panel. Implement risk-based QA sampling plans and supplier auditing protocols while ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements. Lead monitoring of Quality KPIs to drive informed decision-making and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end supply chain. Manage product conformance with brewing partners and support new product launches and technical innovation projects. Travel to brewery and supplier sites 10-30% of the time to monitor operations and build capability with On Trade teams.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical understanding of Quality Management principles
- demonstrated through previous experience of managing quality within FMCG
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working within an industrial brewery environment
- including experience of Packaging and On Trade operations
Desired Qualifications
- A technical brewing related qualification is preferred, e.g. Level 4 Brewer Apprenticeship, CIBD General Certificate or Diploma in Brewing
- Passionate about producing exceptional-quality beer
