Job Summary
Quality Manager to lead product and process quality across vehicle development, launch, production, suppliers, and field feedback. Own quality issue management from identification through resolution, drive containment and corrective actions, establish quality systems, dashboards and KPIs, and implement structured root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Why, DFMEA, PFMEA). Collaborate with Supply Chain and manufacturing to ensure launch readiness, incoming quality, and ongoing production quality. Support customer quality, warranty analysis, and regulatory/homologation requirements. Hybrid role near Milwaukee, WI with 10–15% travel; focus on supplier quality, manufacturing quality, and field feedback to meet vehicle quality expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related).
- Experience in automotive, EV, powersports, or related industries with exposure to manufacturing quality, supplier quality, product quality, and/or vehicle launch activities.
- Strong understanding of PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Familiarity with vehicle homologation, CoP (Conformity of Production), and regulatory requirements for U.S. and/or European markets preferred.
- Experience supporting regulated vehicle products within automotive, EV, or powersports industries strongly preferred.
- Ability to lead cross-functional issue resolution in a fast-paced environments.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to proactively drive results.
- Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
