Job Summary
Quality Manager in Burlington, MA to formulate and implement the business’ long‐term quality, regulatory, and compliance policy for Signify. Lead compliance of products to safety, EMC, and environmental requirements worldwide to support global sales; manage escalated field quality complaints; drive quality KPIs (Cost of Non-Quality, Field Failure Rates, DRM, NPS, etc.); guide cross‐functional teams on quality improvements, include PPAP/8D, supplier quality, and DfSS; supervise a team of 7–8 engineers (including a people manager); interface with regulatory agencies (UL, FCC) to achieve and maintain product certifications; work with R&D to translate standards into clear requirements; travel 10% internationally and domestically. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 7+ years in quality engineering, with leadership experience and ISO 9001:2015 expertise, plus familiarity with standards such as IEC, CISPR, and related regulatory processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 7 years of experience in quality engineering roles
- Experience managing a quality engineering team
- Experience with quality systems and regulatory compliance (ISO 9001:2015)
- Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP
- Experience with regulatory certifications and standards (UL, FCC, IEC, CISPR)
- Ability to travel (10% international and domestic)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
