Quality Manager leading a 15-person Quality Department in aerospace manufacturing. Responsible for directing and refining quality processes, maintaining stringent aerospace QA/compliance, overseeing CMM operations and sheet-metal QA, partnering with production to meet shipping deadlines, and progressively delegating tasks while maintaining a hands-on leadership approach.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in a Quality Manager role within the aerospace industry, with experience in quality inspection and CMM operations
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, organize, and optimize team structures to meet quality and production goals
- Aerospace Quality Expertise: Extensive knowledge of quality processes, standards, and best practices specific to the aerospace industry
- Preferred Experience: Hands-on experience in sheet metal applications in aerospace manufacturing
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated capability in managing workflows, prioritizing schedules, and ensuring timely adherence to shipping deadlines
