Job Summary
Quality Manager responsible for ensuring products, materials, and services meet contractual requirements and procedures. Develop, maintain, and administer a Nadcap/AS9100-aligned quality program and ensure audits of customer and third parties. Direct and evaluate quality department staff, provide training, and interface with customers and suppliers on quality concerns. Oversee engineering processes, quality control activities, and supplier qualification, while ensuring conformance to program requirements through audits and corrective actions. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; aerospace quality systems knowledge and lean manufacturing experience are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Engineering or related degrees preferred; equivalent experience acceptable
- Minimum of 3 years department management and 2 years direct supervisory experience
- Familiarity with commercial (AMS, ASTM), aircraft and aerospace specifications (Nadcap, ISO, AS, QS, TS) quality systems
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Report for work on time and lead teams effectively
- Knowledge of in-house computers and charting systems
