Job Summary
Quality Manager in a plant metallurgical environment overseeing the Non-Conforming Product (NCP) system via MRB, coordinating and optimizing standard metallurgical practices with production planning, and managing lab anneal activities. Responsibilities include investigating customer complaints with engineers and production personnel, providing metallurgical advice to Rolling & Finishing Supervisors and related teams, and ensuring safe operations. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical/Materials/Chemical Engineering or related field and 1–3 years of metallurgical experience in heavy manufacturing. Based in Milwaukee, WI.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related field is required.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years related Metallurgical experience in aluminum, steel or similar industry is required.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years working in a heavy industrialized/manufacturing environment is required.
