Job Summary
Quality Manager responsible for maintaining and improving the quality system to ensure ISO 9001 compliance across manufacturing of precision optical coatings and glass products. Leads quality initiatives, conducts internal/external audits, and manages regulatory compliance (RoHS, REACH, ITAR). Directs supplier qualification programs, handles field quality issues with customers, and drives quality improvement projects using data and 8D/problem-solving methods (AS9102 FAIRs, PPAPs). Requires hands-on inspection/testing, capability to manage non-conformances and corrective actions, and strong collaboration across engineering, operations, and sales. Minimum qualifications include a 4-year technical degree and 5 years of quality engineering and 5 years of management experience; Six-Sigma Black Belt preferred. Location: Clarksburg, WV; regular onsite work with a competitive salary range of $60,000–$80,000 annually plus benefits.
