Job Summary
Maintain and develop the Quality Management System to drive quality improvements at the Mississauga facility, coordinating the QMS documentation and internal/external audit systems. Lead root cause investigations, manage the Corrective Action System, and ensure compliance with ISO-9001 and TS-16949 standards while developing supplier audit practices. Drive surface improvements initiatives to reduce customer complaints and internal scrap, and establish strong business relationships with customer quality representatives. Utilize knowledge of aluminum alloy metallurgy to improve process performance. This onsite role reports directly to the Plant Manager and requires five years of manufacturing quality experience.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of Quality Experience in a Manufacturing facility
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business
Desired Qualifications
- Aluminium Extrusion Production and Quality Systems
- Understand GD&T and Drawing Tolerance, reading blueprints
- Manufacturing experience
- Strong analytical skills, professionalism and organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge of Extrusion Press and Die Practices and Quality Management Systems
- Familiar with Continuous Improvement Processes
