Job Summary
Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures while leading the quality assurance team. Oversee investigations of customer complaints and non-conformances, establishing key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement. Manage internal and external audits for compliance, collaborate on integrating quality into product development, and drive root cause analysis with corrective and preventive actions. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years in manufacturing quality management, and preferred CQM or CQE certification. This role supports partner manufacturers across Hudsonville, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
- 7+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
- at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949)
- Proficient in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and various quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on product quality
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
- Additional certifications or training
