Job Summary
Lead development and execution of the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans, and related work planning. Oversee quality for large-scale commercial building systems, including MEP, exterior envelope, and structural components. Conduct and manage inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and manufacturer requirements. Ensure accurate documentation, record control, and inspection tracking while identifying and driving resolution of nonconformances. Manage subcontractor quality performance and support internal and external audits to maintain ISO 9001 compliance. Analyze trends, identify risks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate quality expectations, training, and findings across the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Actively incorporate safety expectations into work planning and completion.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years experience developing and implementing construction quality management programs in the Power, or Electrical Construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of ISO-9001 quality management standards
- Exceptional math, computer, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-starter with organizational, managerial, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage teams up to 5 personnel
- Effective organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong public speaking and technical writing skills
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
- Perform work safely and effectively
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
- Work during normal operating hours
- Work overtime and weekends as required
