Job Summary
Quality Manager/EHS Coordinator responsible for directing the quality department, maintaining ISO9000:2015 compliance, and promoting a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environment. Leads internal audits, manages non-conforming product handling, drives continuous improvement, champions APQP/PPAP/pre-production qualifications, and coordinates cross-functional efforts to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction across plastics/rubber converting operations. Requires extensive quality management experience in manufacturing, expertise in ISO9000/IATF16949/AS9100, SPC/lean methods, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced degree in a technical discipline or relevant experience
- 10 years plus quality management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred and preferably in plastics and rubber converting (injection, transfer, compression molding and extrusion)
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong management and supervisory skills with a focus on teamwork
- Training and experience in ISO9000:2015 and/or IATF16949/AS9100 quality systems
- Training and experience in SPC, formal problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 why etc.) and lean manufacturing.
