Job Summary
Lead the plant's quality management system, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, GMPs, and regulatory requirements while developing robust quality procedures and process control systems. Monitor critical control points, manage customer complaints through root cause investigations, and partner with suppliers to establish material compliance standards. Direct the quality team through coaching and performance management, driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product consistency and operational efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to resolve quality issues, support new product launches, and communicate performance trends to leadership. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of manufacturing quality leadership experience, and 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Five or more years of progressive quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, GMPs, process controls, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience leading customer audits, supplier quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance programs
- Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing quality teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing quality systems
- Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs require
