Job Summary
The Quality Manager will develop, implement, and maintain the site's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards. Responsibilities include leading internal and external audits, managing corrective and preventive actions, overseeing quality control activities, defining key quality metrics, approving materials, and addressing customer quality issues. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging or printing, with knowledge of ISO 9001 and other packaging standards. Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be fluent in French with good English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Printing Technology, Packaging, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5–8 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in labels, packaging, or printing
- Proven experience managing a Quality Management System in a production setting
- Experience with printing and converting processes is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and packaging-related standards (e.g., BRCGS Packaging)
- Understanding of label materials, inks, adhesives, color management, and print quality standards
- Proficiency in root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA)
- Familiarity with ERP and quality management software
- Detail-oriented with a structured, analytical approach
- Ability to work cross-functionally with production, sales, and technical teams
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in French and very good English skills (written and spoken)
