Job Summary
Quality Leader responsible for building out the Quality organization for Pratt & Whitney's Advanced Casting Foundry (ACF) in Asheville. Lead compliance with QMS, drive process improvements using DMAIC/CORE/Lean to reduce cycle time and costs, oversee Quality Engineering, Inspection, NDT, Gage Calibration, Metrology, MRB, and related functions, secure resources to meet goals, and align with Operations and Materials to meet customer demand. Provide technical expertise on non-conforming material, manage MRB communications, and implement quality plans to support business objectives and metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree with minimum 10 years experience
- Knowledgeable in AS9100 / ISO 9001 Quality systems
- Working knowledge of FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, GD&T
- PW Quality system experience
- Experience with root cause corrective action and eliminating non-conformances
- Practical DMAIC, CORE, Six Sigma or Lean Systems experience
