Job Summary
Lead overall factory quality performance by monitoring key indicators such as scrap, warranty, and first pass yield while managing supplier quality and development processes. Execute supplier assessments, drive corrective and preventive actions based on maturity levels, and ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ABB's management systems. Manage operational quality on-site and off-site, handle cycle counts, and address product, process, and supplier issues using problem-solving tools. Report to the Manufacturing Unit Manager at the NEMA Motors division factory in Guadalajara, Mexico, with on-site work requirements.
Required Qualifications
- You enjoy working with problem solving and continues improvement methods in the metal-mechanic industry, electric motor industry preferably
- You have more than 8 years of experience in quality related activities
- Possess a good knowledge of SAP or similar ERPs
- document management systems such as Compliant Pro
- Good communication skills, including verbal and written
- Customer management under high pressure environments
- You are at ease communicating in English and Spanish
- You hold current degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or similar fields
