Quality Liaison I (2nd Shift)

Job Summary
Serve as the primary quality contact at the customer's facility, monitoring product quality, performing inspections and audits, and responding to quality concerns. Coordinate containment activities, support root cause investigations, and document inspection results while ensuring proper identification and segregation of rejected or suspect material. Communicate customer feedback to SMP teams, participate in quality meetings, and follow up on corrective actions to verify effectiveness. Escalate significant issues to the Quality Liaison Team Leader and maintain awareness of customer-specific requirements. Work directly with customer and internal personnel in a manufacturing environment requiring frequent standing and walking.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as business needs require
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, specifications, and quality documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality, manufacturing, inspection, or a related field
- Automotive manufacturing or Tier 1 supplier experience
- Customer-facing experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify and respond effectively to quality concerns
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems
