Quality Level II NDT Inspector

Job Summary
Oversee the design, layout, testing and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems. Perform NDT inspections and report findings, coordinating with all parties/departments. Produce inspection reports and maintain detailed work records. Mentor and train staff as assigned. Read and interpret complex blueprints, customer/vendor specifications, and shop drawings. Utilize tape measures and metrology tools (micrometer, scales, calipers). Demonstrate knowledge of AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.6, D17.1; NAVSEA experience (1688, 271, 248) preferred but not required. Work independently and in a fast-paced team environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Ensure confidentiality, ethics, and high professional standards. Proficient in applying standard inspection testing techniques for material verification; ability to read and interpret a variety of documents including safety rules and quality manuals. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Current or previous CWI and past experience with Defense contractors are preferred. We will certify to W International’s NDT Written Practice criteria.

- VT-210 Method Experience Hours
- PT-210 Method Experience Hours
- MT-280 Method Experience Hours
- Documented training and classroom hours per SNT-TC-1A or equivalent
- Experience with GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW welding (preferred)
